For this holiday special we discuss Christmas on Ganymede by Isaac Asimov. Then we'll we compare our favorite science fiction Christmas toys, and share some memories of childhood Christmasses.

It was a fun little book, and I might still have it in a box around here somewhere. As well as the old MMM toys and my Johnny West figures, etc. I know I still have my old Jonny Seven gun. I had some great Christmases.

I looked up the book and it’s a Whitman big little book, written by George S. Elrick, who also wrote Whitman books about Flipper, The Man from Uncle and Lassie. He also wrote a Science Fiction Handbook, which is available on archive.org

I got Major Matt Mason with the 3 story lunar base, a crawler, a moon tractor, a few of the figures including the green bulbous headed alien. Hours of fun. Batteries not included for the crawler. Later I got a big little book of an engaging Matt Mason adventure involving giant moon worms and their tunnels.
